STEVEN HACK is first and foremost an experienced actor, having acted with some of the best in Hollywood and New York for more than three decades. He's played character roles of many varieties and dialects and accents, from doctors and scientists to crooks and murder suspects… British lords, Dublin townies and the state of North Carolina… yes, he played the state of North Carolina in a commercial.
His voice has an endearing, genuine quality that is trustworthy, smart and versatile. Undeniably a non-announcer, his sound can also have a little or a lot of character and he has a flair for storytelling.
When not on-camera (or on stage), his voice has been heard not only in commercials and animation, but also in live radio productions of "The Odd Couple" (with Nathan Lane, Dan Castellaneta, and Yeardley Smith) and "Counsellor-At-Law" (with John Rubinstein), and even on the Grammy award-winning Broadway cast album of "Cats".
